1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the VariableVault Google Docs Add-on ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including visitors, free trial users, and subscribers.

2. Description of Service

VariableVault is a Google Docs Add-on that automates document creation by replacing placeholders in Google Docs with variable data stored in Google Sheets. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at our discretion.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

4. Account & Google Authorization

To use VariableVault, you must authorize the add-on to access specific Google services (Docs and Sheets) through Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You may revoke access at any time through your Google account settings.

You agree not to:

• ✕ Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• ✕ Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
• ✕ Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the Service
• ✕ Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• ✕ Use automated means to access the Service beyond normal usage

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its code, design, logos, and documentation, are and shall remain the exclusive property of VariableVault. Your content (documents, spreadsheets, data) remains your property. We claim no ownership over any content you create or process using the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VariableVault shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Cancellation & Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
